just 'cause i didn't have time yesterday

haha yesterday i was late up so didn't post as i planned too :P i was just on time for uni though and it was a great day :D

nothing new has happened really, i started reading the hunger games (started the first book about a week ago and now i'm on page 284/374 of the third and final book) and its actually rather good, some people have said its better than harry potter, but i disagree:

i feel the book is too predictable, some of the important plot lines (i wont say which in-case you haven't read it) i predicted would happen, and the history behind the book (i.e past games) have been very similar to katniss' and peetas' just with random bits added in to make them seem different, which i suppose could be the authors way of portraying the capitols control over the tributes by making everything the same every year, but i don't think after 75 years of it the audience will still be as enthralled, but then again i suppose they're forced to watch it. clever cover up for a gaping plot hole... damnit ;)
