Break from preperation
Oh mai, this isn't as simple as i first thought, i'm up to my ears in PADI standards, and documentation, times per skill number of students per qualified divemaster and above
never expected this to be easy, just didn't think it'd be REALLY hard :P
anyway, best get back to it :)

OH
i went on a date last night, first one since julie :D was fun :)
might see her again
might see her again
quick update before i shoot off
hey everyone :D
got to dash off to prepare for my divemaster practical today, which im not prepared for, because of exams, but ho hum :P
went diving yesterday at capernwray dive centre with my good friend Mr lythgo from reefers and wreckers =] (i don't remember if that's the right spelling of his name) was a truly amazing day, first dive we followed the wall round at about 14-17 meters for about 50 minutes, then we dropped into the sump (that has a depth of 20+ meters) played around in there for about 5 minutes and came back, all in all, 65 minutes underwater, was about 15-18 degrees, so was wonderfully warm :D serious thermocline (region where temp rapidly drops) at 15 meters though
second dive, saw a bit more, mainly because we set out with that intention xD 2 meter plat, 6 meter plat, Cessna aeroplane, onto the answer, then straight across the the african queen, on to the container, complete with helicopter and an oil rig, through that, onto the BBIIGGG passenger plane (its a HS 748 G-BVOV for anyone who's more into planes than me) through the plane, up onto the wall (lost my way for a second, undershot my distance) up onto the devil and lord lucan (old fiber glass horse from Blackpool, if you're too young to remember it, google it :) ) onto shergar (same thing) then left onto the dreamer, then onto thunderbird 4, then turned round and came home :D all in all, 46 minutes with a max depth of 17.5 meters
all in all, a good day :D
and today I'm spending all day at the dive shop sorting out my kit, and my theory and a load of other peoples kit for this weekend (did i mention i was going the farne islands yet? if not, I'M GOING THE FARNE ISLANDS THIS WEEKEND !! :D :D :D)
so I'll let you know how the first of my 3 practical assessments goes tonight =] wish me luck!

These past 2 years
Well, that's it, college is done for, and I've been thinking about it, and so much has happened over the past 2 years:
Made some awesome friends
Met 4 people I do not like
Made some close bonds with the teachers,
Laughed more times than I care to remember
Eaten about 1 KG of sausage butties
Eaten 1 bacon butty
Drunk hundreds of bottles of coke,
Went to ainsdale
Dissected at least 5 different things,
Sat 18 exams,
Gone through at least 2 trees worth of paper
Lost about 200 pens
Had 3 calculators,
Climed pendle hill
Lost a girlfriend
Found another
That one fizzled out
Been sure I was insane
Had that confirmed,
Lost a cousin :(
Haven't (yet) failed a single subject
Went to the states
Came back alone
Had two toenails removed
Cried a few times
Turned 18
Got wasted 4 times
Puked on one persons back
Played 20+ games of bowling
Watched even more films at the cinema
Lost someones friendship that was important to me
Learnt who my real friends are
Experimented on about 50 maggots,
Went on strike
Went to london
Went to liverpool
Spent sooo much money
Learnt how to programme
Learnt a lot of important stuff
Argued
Been punched 5 times
Had threats been made
Made threats of my own
Made some stupid mistakes
But made some awesome choices,
The past 2 years have easily been the hardest of my life, and normally people say that college was great and they'd do it all again, knowing what I do now? I'd do so much differently

Bit of a rant
theres been so many people saying that they've been "spiked" recently, but yet, the girls that have been saying AREN'T the most attractive people in the world, so i struggle to understand what purpous anyone would spike them, just walk up and say "fancie a quick one?" they're probably desperate enough,
seriously, ladies (and gents) don't say you were spiked just because you got WAY too drunk and fell over lots
have the balls to own up to you not knowing your own limit

HO LEE SHIT
that, was, the WORST exam i have ever had the pleasure of sitting,
its taken me this long to be able to write about it without going into a serious breakdown,
so many of the questions were packed full of words and you didn't really have enough time to read EVERYTHING so i ended up skimming loads and i know for a fact i've fucked up on so much, but i'm not the only one so thats oaky, been reading up on the student room forum, and sooo many people are kicking off over it, so i feel better, because i know i did well on some bits, so i MIGHT be okay
cba writing anything else guys sorry,
still depressed over the exam
talk later

what a complete, and utter, major fail
couldn't sleep last night, so was up till three this morning watching tangled on my laptop, and now im knackered and i have an exam tomorrow D: so its a case of, do i a) revise, and be text book ready for the exam, or b) sleep loads and me physicially and mentally refreshed for the exam?
-shrugs- loads of revision it is, then i'll get pepped on energy drinks if im tired still :D might actually drink one today, so i can have 8 hours of decent solid revision without needing to break
thats about it

its almost been two weeks
at least this time i have a pretty decent excuse,
my first exam is in 2 days, and i'm slowly but surely getting ready for it, i know the stuff i don't get, so i'm getting it explained, and the stuff i DO get I'm going over and over so it sticks in my head :D
i'm running around my life like a complete and upper wazzerk right now ( i love that word, wazzerk) but i realize that its all gonna be worth it when the exams are over and i get a chance to treat myself and go dive in scotland (last time i did this i was supposed to be revising for my GCSE exams, and this time i'll have just finished my final ever (fingers crossed) A-level exam =] i see an end of education tradition coming ;)
As i've been going through the practice questions for my chemistry exam, i've realised that my head is much more full of knowledge than i first thought, and for the first time EVER i'm actually feeling like i may be ready for a physics exam (i know right?! shows that starting revision about 2 months prior to exams really pays off, so if you've discovered this post because you're searching for revision tips, START EARLY and aim to be finished a week or so before your actual exam, then you have time to go over the stuff you don't get :) )
so fingers crossed for me this coming 2 and a half weeks, because it will be THE TOUGHEST 2 and a half weeks i've ever been through, i'll be running on fear and adrenaline for a few days, so if i get chance to post, they will be erratic and pointless posts about how great things are (even if they're not)
life in general, as usual, sucks :) but i put this down to exams, and the preperation there of, ( i mean, i'm doing about 20 hours a week in total, and i've been properly revising for about a month and a half, so 6 x 20 = 120 hours revision, divided by the number of subjects (4) equals 30 hours per subject, but thats just the time tabled shit, and there was a week where i did about 40 hours in it, so i've done about 45 hours revision per subject this time round :D )
thats about it,
be good y'all
