GOT A REPLY

So Carlisles' MP got back to me regarding the fluoride levels  in the drinking water:

Starting to make waves, but i have got in touch with United Utilities myself (through use of the freedom of information act) to see if the results i receive collaborate with the results Mr Stevenson passes onto me, should be interesting (letter screen shot below)

But whats most interesting is the fact that this came from the house of commons, this is the first letter i have received from the house of commons, when, normally, back home when I contacted Gordon Prentice about "trivial" local things (trying to organize local activities for youth, requesting lighting on the local basket ball courts etc.) i always received letters from his personal office in Pendle, so that can be taken two ways: 1) Mr Stevenson is a frequent visitor of the house of commons or 2) this has gone higher than any request I've ever made about a local matter (bearing in mind i only asked for a reason behind it, not levels) i REALLY hope its the latter, because it means i'm making bigger waves than i thought... -shrugs- we'll see

letter to United Utilities as promised:

Lots of people have been questioning my motives behind this, and while yes i DO want fluoridation of drinking water to be removed from the country, really, showing that one 20 year old from such a small low income area with absolutely no political pull what so ever ca make a change, will hopefully persuade people that things CAN be changed just by being strong and standing up for what they believe in, meaning that more people will get off their backsides and start fighting for some real world issues, just in numbers, and in numbers, we will have greater influence!

cigarettes filters cause more damage than they prevent!

Ask anyone, smoking causes lung cancer, back when pre rolled cigarettes first came about there was no filter in, you just smoked with tobacco in your mouth, but then the little white filters became standard in all cigarettes, a little white solid tube that you put in the end to filter out some of the harmful chemicals, however, new studies have shown that these filters actually do a different type of damage than the tobacco would, one that could be argued is worse than the tobacco itself:

The filters are made up of something called "glass wool" (kinda like fiberglass, which is known to be bad to inhale) when you take a drag, little bits of this glass break off the filter and go into your lung, these bits of glass tear the soft epithelial cells in the lung, meaning that more of the chemicals the filters are intended to stop, have an easier access to your blood stream, this causes cells to get higher doses of the toxins increasing the likely hood of cancer, however, there is more damage done than this.

As the tears heal, they form scar tissue, which is not as effective at stretching and collapsing as healthy lung tissue, this can lead to COPD (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease) emphysema, and then lung cancer, Chest x-rays of chronic smokers have been known to look like those who were exposed to asbestos, giving what is known as a "ground glass" appearance, these white areas are scar tissue, but the continuous damaging and repairing of the tissues leads to lesions developing, and this is where cancer is more likely to develop.

I'm not saying people shouldn't smoke, just that hand rolled with roach or even cotton wool, would be better  for you in the long term.

off to watch house now ;)

The TRUTH behind banks and money

I spend so much time talking about the banks, yet never really look at the corruption of what people THINK the banks are.

The local branches of banks (barclays, HSBC, Santander etc.) are the people that directly control our money, they see how much we earn, how much we spend, where we spend it, what we spend it on, anyone working at a local branch has access to these details (they have to be, to do there job) and even people over the phone can see your spending habits, hence when you ring up with a blocked card, they ask you questions about your spending.

But, for every pound you have in the bank, this is used as insurance to get loans ten times greater, so 1 pound is worth 10 pounds to the bank, not that special, until you get to big numbers:

If you have 10,000 pounds in your savings, this is worth 100,000  to the banks, they can loan 100,000 out to a bigger company, and when this gets paid back, and the company gets more money, (say, 100,000) this is worth ten times to the bank (so a company with a bottom line of 100,000 each year is worth a whopping 1,000,000 to the banks, this can be lended on and the cycle continues)

HOWEVER, this is not real money, nothing you can touch, its on a screen as a number, so it literally is worthless to us, yet the banks (who control these screens) each digit is worth 10 digits, but in actual paper money, there is not this much money in the world.

If every single person walked into branch and wanted to empty their bank accounts, there wouldn't be enough cash, which is why there is a limit to how much you can withdraw from the bank without notice, you have to ring them and inform them you will be coming to withdraw x number of thousands and they either order the cash in from bigger branches, or request a loan of the government that ask to get more printed by the bank of England (however, the bank of england loans this money to the government at an interest rate, it is then the governments responsibility to pay this debt, but how do they do that? by requesting more money, it is a debt we will never overcome)

so if everyone requested to empty all there savings on the same day, how much paper money would have to be in the world?

lets do the math:

say if (in England) there are 6,000,000 people living with 10,000 in savings in their accounts
that 10,000 is worth 100,000 per person to the banks
so there would have to be 60,000,000,000 (sixty billion) in cash in england at that day, in all the banks, assuming this would be paid in the majority in 50 pound notes there would have to be 1,200,000,000 (one billion two hundred million) notes in circulation. (when realistically the Bank of England say there is only 40 billions worth of all notes in circulation today, there would be 20,000,000,000 pounds missing that would need re printing, quick time )
however, if 6 million people took 10,000 out of there accounts on the same day, the government would lose access to 600,000,000,000 (six hundred billion) in one day, they would be crippled, and the value of the GBP would drop to be less than that of the Japanese yen!

how good does your money seem now?
