Patience is a virtue

Recently, been practicing patience, as i figure its probably a good trait to have
Sit and wait for an hour before committing,
Go stand outside for an hour and wait for something that might never come (but just as easily might)
that sort of thing,
Been working well, but now, i've found a stretch,

Because i've gone through life always trying to be self sufficient, and if theres something i need that i might be relying on other people for, i always have a suitable back up plan

(If i've learned anything at university its that the only thing most people can be relied on for, is to be unreliable, if you expect them to fuck you over, and have a back up plan, if they help, its great and the backup can either be saved, or be put into the task, but if they DO let you down (as most people normally do) you have a method of getting what you needed  to get done, thus avoiding problems.)

But now, i'm waiting for my clinical tutor because she wants to discuss placement with me, and she's half an hour late, and there was no backup plan available as this meeting was arranged by someone who wasn’t me (i’d have done my best to be here on time come hell or high water) thankfully, one of the techs (Johnny) at uni is about to ring her, but it still pisses me off.

If there’s anything this experience has taught me, its that the majority of people (including ones in important places) cannot be relied on at all!

Won’t rely on anyone else every again (bar the few who have never let me down)

Don't know why i'm shocked, i know human nature is to be selfish!

The period of awakening is begining

http://www.the-scientist.com/?articles.view%2FarticleNo%2F34086%2Ftitle%2FDouble-DNA%2F

EEEEEEEEE ITS HAPPENING! i was right!
The period of awakening is beginning, and more of our DNA is being "unlocked" soon, we will "discover" 6 stranded, then 8, then 10 and finally 12, and when we FINALLY reach 12 strands of DNA, our metamorphosis will begin!

These 4 stranded DNA molecules are not new, but they have not been present in the human race since the very first Egyptian kings (when we had 12 strands) (I.e the ones who built the great pyramid of giza) these activations of DNA will allow us to access different dimensions, as if it was nothing, we currently live on the 3rd dimension of consciousness, 2 stages above crystals (Yup, crystals are actually "alive" they have feelings, and energies just like us, we just aren't aware of them (but they do influence us))

4th of consciousness means that the current laws of physics will no longer apply, we will be able to summon anything by thinking of it (i think, been a while since i did levels of being) and the gravity will no longer hold us in place, we will have the ability to go where ever we please just by thinking it (VERY similar to astral projection, well, it IS astral projection) we will also begin to understand how to travel DOWN in consciousness (i.e we will be able to flit between the 3rd and fourth dimensions)

This rise in consciousness is also rumored to be linked to increased body size (hence why all the Egyptian buildings have different sized people stood/sat/knelt before them, these are believed to be actual life sized replicas of the pharaohs who were ruling at the time.

First we learned that the universe grew like a brain (well, a brain grows like the universe)
Now we're learning that humans can have more than the double helix structure we're all taught at school
I wonder what's next?
science learns about the energies the chakra hold? and how their imbalances upset our internal workings?
Or maybe we will "rediscover" the flower of life and its true relevance to human existence (and that of the universe)

Cannit fucking wait

HATE CARLISLE!

This shitty little... VILLAGE has officially driven me round the twist,
CANNOT WAIT! to sit my final exam next year, then i'm OUTA here,
Won't even come back for graduation, If i ever set foot in this shitty little town
again it'll be too soon!

Its full of dirty little inbreds who all shoot up heroin, let their dogs shit ANYWHERE and
not bother to pick it up, and i SWEAR TO GOD a few weeks ago there was a human shit outside my house, then theres the people! they're all so FUCKING rude! stand aside to let someone go past, you get a GLARE instead of a thank you, pass someone something off a shelf, SAME THING!
infact, the NICEST people in this town are the few homeless that are knocking around, seems in Carlisle you only get taught manners if you don't have a roof over your head.

HATE THIS TOWN! just gonna exist in it now, only reason I'll ever leave the house again is to:

Go lectures
Go rugby training/games,
Buy food

Thats it, rest of the time will be spent hidden away in my room
from here on out the ONLY people i will talk to will be the ones who:
Come into my room
Or I choose to associate with.

EVERYTHING about this shitty little place is depressing, and 17 months isn't going to go by quick enough

health benifits of cannabis

Cannabis, in its psychoactive form (i.e NOT hemp) can be used to treat a long long list of medical ailments, from cancer, to migraines, yet it is considered "dangerous" because of one reason, it threatens sooo many industries, if cannabis were to be legalized for at least medical purposes pharmaceutical companies would go bankrupt. as along with the ten benefits mentioned in this video it also:

Boosts your immune system,
Increases melatonin production (a key hormone in fighting cancer, and is also responsible for your sleep cycles)
As it helps with inflammation (through the ecannabinoid system, discussed later) pure cannabis smoke (as that taken from a bong or vaporizer, not from a joint (or "marijuana cigarette" :') ) is EXCELLENT for asthmatics

The ecannabinoid system (which is influenced by cannabis (clues in the name really) ) is responsible for:

Inflammation reactions

Controls your stress reaction (ever seen someone who's smoking cannabis be stressed? some people even smoke it before exams to settle their nerves)

Memories (cannabis has been linked to helping those with PTSD forgetting their traumatic experiences as it affects short term memory)

Controls your appetite (hence why you get the "munchies" a minor side effect for recreational users, but for someone with leukemia, it can help them eat again, and we all know you need to eat to survive)

It also influences female reproduction (smoking cannabis reduces the likely hood of pregnancy in females with high anandamide, and increases the likely hood of pregnancy in females with low anandamide)

And many more

And in a select few, cannabis actually IMPROVES mental abilities, meaning they are smarter while high from cannabis than not (people have done IQ tests whilst not high, and whilst high and their IQ increased by 15 points (anyone who knows anything will tell you that your IQ at 18 is pretty much your IQ for life, as suggested in this study http://health.ninemsn.com/whatsgoodforyou/theshow/694230/can-you-increase-your-iq ) (allowed to talk about past use providing I'm not promoting, merely stating a fact that is true, and sharing my own knowledge of the drug)

Should something with so many medical benefits, really be withheld from the general population JUST because it will take money away from big companies?

Philosophical and academic right to discuss alternative forms of treatment,
can't reference anything though, this is just some of my own knowledge from years of reading independent studies (but Google it, you'll see I'm right )

there is still some hope for humanity

Normally rant and rave about how evil human beings are as a whole, and that we're all out for ourselves and blah de blah (if you've read my blog enough you know what its about)

but found this today on yahoo news:
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/puzzle-reveals-man-dying-cancer-101331278.html#ZqSzL7l

Obviously, a sad story, but this man has clearly accepted his fate, and isn't hung up about it (still working) and can happily make it public knowledge.

Not just anyone would be that selfless to accept they are dying, its one of the hardest things we, as a physical being, will ever have to go through, its coded into our brains to self preserve, its our basic instinct to fight and hide any form of weakness (from back when we lived out in the wild, and we were still hunted on a regular basis) given, there are becoming more and more people in todays society who like to milk illness and make a big deal over it, because they believe it makes them "special" some how (regardless of your religious standpoint, survival of the fittest is a pretty much accepted fact (in the wild, the lion who can't catch its prey dies, as does its family), so therefor weakness is not a thing to be celebrated) this man, merely publicly acknowledged his illness in a cryptic crossword, he didn't want to make a statement, he probably didn't even know if anyone would care, he just said it, and carried on.

(probably should point out by people, i mean fully grown adults, who's frontal lobe are intact, who should be aware of the concept of community, children (below 16), it is entirely acceptable for them to milk illness, as they ONLY have a sense of self, as far as they're concerned, them, and their immediate family, are the only things that matter.)

If the entire human race were as selfless as this man, we'd be in a lot better state than we are now.

I wish him much happiness in his remaining years, and hope he dies with the respect and dignity he deserves.
And fingers crossed he may go into spontaneous remission, or there may be a break through any time now.

little bits of goodness shine brighter than all the evil put together
