To
achieve the minimum mark you will produce a report as described below. We do
hope that you will be able to produce an essay that is above this minimum
standard. Use the year one assessment criteria to help you achieve this.
Minimum
D (pass) grade will be achieved if: you meet all the learning outcomes of the
module with evidence of a basic understanding of psychological and sociological
theory in radiography with the aim of increasing patient satisfaction and
compliance.
Marking
Grid
The
following marking grid will be used by tutors who will be assessing your work.
You should use this along with the level 1 college-wide grade descriptors,
available in the student handbook, when planning your essay. This would indicate how you could raise your
mark from the minimum mark described previously.
Assessment Criteria
We
are looking for an assignment that shows an understanding of
non-compliance/non-adherence, how non-compliance/non-adherence might influence
radiography and how you as a practitioner can reduce this. It will be necessary, as the subject of
compliance/adherence is so broad, to concentrate your discussion around one
area of radiography and/or non-compliant behaviour. The assignment should be well presented,
structured and referenced using a range of relevant and up to date books, web
pages and journals. All criteria are
