PLACEMENT :D

Today, i leave for south shields, to do my first week of clinical placements (technically this week is just "clinical visits" but still! )

I go for a week for this induction week, then i'm home next friday for a week, then, I start properly dealing with patients :P

i'm actually buzzing off it

however, its 5:27 in the morning, and i'm sober, i'm not liking this not going on sessions that much, but i'll remember all of the night, and it was cheap (spent 15 quid xD)

plus, tuesday the 13th of march? i'm thinking a massive night out will be needed, where i catch up on the 8 weeks of drinking i'll have missed out on ;) (having said that now, it still means i'd only be taking 160 out, still half what i used to spend on nights out xD )

Bad times

Uni is getting scary, i leave for placement in a few days and i'm still not sure i'm ready :P

OH well, jump in two footed as usual, get in the way, learn by negative reenforcement and all that :)

Damn straight you know i'm hooking myself into the mains prior to starting my placement and i'll shock myself with 232 volts xD

Boring lecture is boring

Sat in a lecture on the differences in DR and CR imaging, sorry to have to say this, but I've studied this already, everyone knows that direct imaging has a TFT :)

Besides, could learn this stuff from the book

This afternoon we have the one, the only, stevie P :/ and let's be honest, he's more of a crap teacher than andrew was (having said that, towards the end, andrew became a good teacher)

Not a reyt lot to say, just wanted to see if I could get away with posting this right under the lecturers nose ;)

So the second term of uni has started, and i leave for placement in a few days :) CANNOT WAIT! :D

been a bit of a fuck up with my student finance though, apparently i also have a place at the university of liverpool :') and am registered there with student finance :D so you know, thats a thing,

Currently, life is on one of its up strokes :) things are going right (for once) having a great time
uni is seeming kinda easy atm (physicsy stuff, and as i'm sure you'll all remember, i have a bit of a thing for physics (crap at it, but i do enjoy it) so you know)

thats all about it, you wouldn't believe its just taken me 10 minutes to right that... but it has :P

Can't sleep, snuck out to the shed where my boxes are to get my sleeping pills, and woke my grandma up in the process (not good, feel terrible) and guess what? the pills are doing NOTHING


So now i know that when i'm on the train home tomorrow i'll be sure to fall asleep, and miss my stop D:

Spending an awful lot of time helping people lately, which as you all know is fine with me :) gives me a chance to stop being "selfish"

Going back up to carlisle tomorrow :D and the new housemate might be there, so it'll be fun to meet him, maybe have a few drinks or something ;) break him into the way of the house :P (by which i mean he'll have to get used to me running off with people i see that i know xD )

Ryan comes back on friday, so gonna go round to his new place and help him build a skeleton (which again, will involve drinks ;) )

leave at five to 4 tomorrow, got so much to do, need to see some people, make sure everything back heres in order.


OOO dunno if i told you all?! im giving a talk on radiography at my old college on the 4th of january :D having that level of responsibility is gonna be weird, i mean, i could turn these kids ONTO or AGAINST my chosen profession and sarahs on about listening in on it :D who knows maybe it'll go well.

Seriously need to sort money out for uni placement D: hopefully i'll be able to up my overdraft when i get back and i'll be able to scrape by, (y) should be okay, i normally am :D

Wow long post now, gonna seriously try and pick up on this blog again now.

not best impressed today

after today, i have zero tolerance for: my mother, religious people who force religion upon you, anyone who is a friend until stuff goes down, and the entire concept of family always coming before friends, while yes to some people family is important, to some people, friends are more like family :)


my mam finally got rid of me today, she's been trying this for months, so now i'm sat in my grandma and grandads front room (bless em) and going back to uni for good tomorrow :)
